*Students (19 and under, attending elementary, intermediate or secondary schools in Toronto) and Seniors (65 and over) qualify for these fares. Seniors must present valid I.D. in the form of a driver's licence, TTC Metropass Photo or some other proof of age when paying their fare; students must present a TTC Student Discount Card.

**Children (12 and under) qualify for Child fares. Children who appear to be older than 12 must present a Student Discount or Child Proof-of-Age Card.
Children under 24 months ride free.

Exact Fare:
If you pay cash to ride the TTC, have the exact fare. Remember - drivers don't sell fares or make change.


Tickets, Tokens:
It's cheaper and more convenient to buy tickets or tokens than to pay cash for every trip. You can buy tickets and tokens at any subway station or a store displaying the Ticket Agent sign. Call 416- 393-4636 for your closest ticket agent.


Transfers:
Can be used at transfer points on day of issue for a one-way continuous trip. Transfers are free and must be obtained when you pay your fare. Ask for a transfer from a driver or get one from an automatic transfer machine in the Subway/RT station, after you pay your fare.


Convention Pass - Special Convention Passes can be purchased in bulk for the delegates to your convention. With the Convention Pass, delegates are able to travel freely within the entire TTC the system without having to be concerned about changing money for ticket and token purchases.

Downtown Express Supplementary Fares - A supplementary fare in addition to the regular TTC fare is required for all the TTC Downtown Express Routes (141 Downtown Mt Pleasant, 142 Downtown Avenue Road, 143 Downtown Beach, and the 144 Downtown Don Valley).

GTA Multi-transit Weekly Pass - The GTA Weekly Pass is an accepted fare on all TTC, Mississauga, Brampton and York Region Transit routes, including service for persons with disabilities which are operated by these systems. Customers in possession of a GTA Pass will not be required to pay the additional zone fare when crossing municipal boundaries.

Monthly TTC Transit Pass ("Metropass") - Save money with the the Metropass, which provides unlimited travel day and night, seven days a week on all regular routes including the rapid subway service, buses and streetcars within the 244-square mile City of Toronto area.

Old Ticket Refund - Old TTC Tickets can be returned to the TTC for a refund.

Student/Child Cards - The Student Discount Card and the Child Proof-of-Age Card may be shown to TTC operators and collectors to verify that the holder is entitled to travel at the student or child rate.

TTC/GO Transit Transfers ("TTC times two") - Passengers who ride the TTC immediately before and after a GO Train/Bus trip can use the TTC transfer from their first TTC ride to board the second TTC vehicle.
