Metropass Benefits
Both the Monthly Metropass and the Metropass Discount Plan (MDP) allow
unlimited
travel day and night, seven days a week on all regular routes including
the rapid subway service, buses and streetcars within the 244-square mile
City of Toronto area.
Monthly Metropass
The Monthly Metropass allows you the greatest flexibility to purchase the pass only for those months you choose.Metropass Discount Plan (MDP)
Save up to $99 per year when you sign up for this 12-month pre-authorized payment plan and take advantage of:
- Free parking for a year at designated subway stations (more information about parking)
- Home delivery by mail. No waiting in line at collector's booth each month. Your Metropass is delivered right to your door.
- Pre-authorized payments. No need to have cash on hand. TTC will deduct the payment from your bank account on the first of each month.
- Price guaranteed for 12 months. So there are no surprises.
All Metropasses have a black, magnetic strip on one side of metropass card gives customers fast access to train platforms through special automatic turnstiles.
Where to Purchase and Pick up Metropass
Monthly Metropass
Monthly Metropasses can be purchased and picked up from ticket agents and subway station Collectors. Monthly passes require a photo I.D. portion (see "Photo Centre" below). Adult Monthly Metropass holders, however, can also use their driver's license identification photo. Students cannot use their driver's license photo.
Metropass Discount Plan
Metropasses can be purchased in person at the head office at 1900 Yonge Street (above the Davisville Subway Station) or by mail.
The passes are mailed to you via Canada Post approximately two to three weeks prior to the first of the month and therefore the receipt of the pass is assumed to be 3 days after mailing.
Monthly Metropass
Monthly Metropass can be purchased with cash at any subway station or with a Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit card at the Bloor-Yonge, Davisville, Dundas (East side only), and Union Stations.
Metropass Discount Plan
We debit your bank account on the first day of every month. OR You have the option of paying for your entire subscription in advance by cash, certified cheque or money order made payable to: Toronto Transit Commission. This payment can be made in person at our Head Office, or can be mailed in. The price for a full year adult subscription is $1086.00, and for students and seniors it is $915.00.

Monthly passes for the next month go on sale the 24th day of each month until the 4th business day of the next month.Metropass Discount Plan

Bus Routes
An additional pass sticker allows transportation on Downtown Express bus
routes. Stickers are available for $29.25 each at King and St. Andrew
stations or order ahead with the MDP. Customers pay an additional premium
without this sticker.
Validating Metropass
Your monthly pass is valid only when you fill in with ball-point pen or
ink, the boxes appearing on the pass as follows:
If you are using your driver's license photo, you must insert the letter M (for male) or F (for female) in the first box, followed by a - (dash) in the second box, then your initials exactly shown on your driver's license (either two or three letters), leaving the remaining one or two boxes blank.
If you are using a Metropass photo (see Metropass and TTC Photo Centre information below), insert the identification letter and number exactly as shown, in all boxes.

Photos are taken at the Photo
Centre, located in Sherbourne Subway Station, at a cost of $3.25. The
hours of operation are 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday (closed
on holidays), and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays. On the first and
last three business days of the month, the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m.
